Although she wasn't that great, the real problem there is her co-anchor. They should put Nicole Brewer on mornings. All the changes they've made stink! Even Don and Kate switching seats! Except for maybe Ukee and Jessica, they seem to be a solid team. Ukee's gotta tone down the "sleep well, family" type of talk.

Will Stacey get a co-anchor at noon, perhaps David or Stefan? What happens to weekends? I wonder if Kerry Barrett would see that as a demotion if she were to take over. I would imagine at some point in the near future Chuck will start cutting back, most likely cutting the 11pm broadcast from his schedule. I wonder if David or Stefan will be the replacement.

Okay, so by this reasoning, if I am the 5pm/11pm meteorologist at WNBC (#2 station in DMA 1 New York) and I take a job as morning meteorologist at WWL (#1 station in DMA 51 New Orleans), that's not a demotion. Get real!!! If it looks like a demotion and smells like a demotion .... it's a demotion! Sheena: Move from DMA 4 to DMA 7 + Move from evenings to mornings = Demotion If she went up in one area and down in another then it would be a lateral move, but that didn't happen.

Where did you see she's going to mornings? What happens to Chuck Bell? If this is the case, seems like a demotion. Not only are you downgrading markets, but you're also downgrading time slots.

Umm no. An equal share was earned post-2000. He's burned bridges at ESPN, FSN, MSNBC, and CurrentTV. It's obvious HE is the problem. I think other's critiques of him are right on. ESPN was right to move on, and MSNBC would be stupid to give him another chance.

I don't believe this is an expansion but rather a move. My understanding is the 10pm is moving to 8pm.

Yes, NBC5's website seems to have updated to this as well now.

The website's TV listings also say Extra returns at 4pm on the Monday after the Olympics.
