Would really like to see Brian Williams as the new face of CBS Evening News!

I would watch the CBS Evening News with Brian Williams. Probably my first choice, tbh.

NBC News confirmed to NewscastStudio that the show has “permanently” moved to Studio 1A.

    Thank you!

I watched the supercut on NewscastStudio, and the thing I couldn't help but notice is that the camera is constantly moving during those in-studio shots. I know they want the broadcast to be dynamic, but sometimes it's a bit much!

Then Matt Pearl is leaving 11alive & Nicole Carr leaving WSB.

Could someone lay out the anchors for each show? I'm still confused about who's paired with whom. And is Cheryl Preheim still there?

An update on WSB Action News anchor Jovita Moore. She is recovering after undergoing surgery for brain cancer this morning. Jovita's surgery went well and doctors say she is a model patient. If you want to leave well wishes to Jovita, please visit the special page devoted to Jovita on the station's website. Thoughts and prayers are with you Jovita. Go with God, and he'll go with you in the power of prayer.

Small, but important point of clarification: she has not been diagnosed with cancer. Her surgery was to remove 2 tumors. They have not determined if it's cancer.

Politics aside, you'd have to admit the amount of cable news airtime Trump has had (especially on CNN & MSNBC) since 2015, is insane.

Unfortunately, some viewers will eat that right up. Hopefully cable news, late night comedians, and comedy news hosts will diversify their content post Trump.

We can only hope, right? Then again, even Trump refers to himself as “the golden goose” for these cable news networks.

It’s hard to leave the one that brung ya...

You know, you could have just said why my opinion sucks as opposed to something vague like that...

Your opinion does not suck. Reread your post that I quoted and you'll note that you posted the same thing two times. Not a big deal at all...

Doug Dunbar had a pretty chill delivery when CBS Weekend News was out of Dallas, which was kind of nice to watch. I also liked Demarco Morgan's delivery, I don't know if he was that genuinely excited to do a national newscast, or if he's gunning for a network job.

Also, how come the CBS Weekend News didn't get an opener that matched the weekday ones? CBS Overnight News did.

It would be a neat idea if they continue it going forward, but it would be unsustainable unless it's limited to a few of the CBS O&Os and maybe some bigger market affiliates.

    Echo (echo)... lol
