  1. Actually, yes, it is fact.
  2. There is no such thing as the Democrat Party, yeah, no bias here with you. ABC didn't do anything wrong, you just don't like what the reality was.
  3. My replies are within quote.
  4. It was around the same time.
  5. Good luck with these. WPVI isn't going to lose its crown for a very long time.
  6. And they also had no problem with her fabricating the home invasion that "inspired" her to be a pro-gun advocate, but I digress.
  7. Didn't Sean McWhatsHisFace at KPHO go from weather to main anchor?
  8. They were already in the midday news scene for some time until a couple(?) years ago.
  9. Katie is expecting twins at the end of September, but twins oftentimes can be born much earlier than their due date.
  10. 29 recently lost Caitlin Roth, so maybe.
  11. Nope. Chase Cain from XETV starts as new AM co-anchor on/around July 6. http://www.jsonline.com/entertainment/tvradio/wisn-tv-names-chase-cain-new-morning-news-co-anchor-b99507544z1-305059071.html?ipad=y
  12. I don't think viewers are going to flee ABC33/40 in droves because Sinclair bought it.
  13. She was at WCAU. Fairly popular morning anchor.
  14. She was off at noon yesterday and Rick said "Sarah Bloomquist is off."
  15. Patrick Rockey confirmed this on Facebook yesterday. Les Smith, Laila Muhammad and Rockey.
  16. Ah, I haven't checked that subforum in a while.
  17. Speaking of Birmingham, I noticed that WIAT changed their logo? Is this old news?
  18. WCAU (and the other Philadelphia stations, for that matter) also covers Kent County, Delaware. I don't know if it is actually part of the DMA.
  19. Meteorologist Derek Kevra is leaving WWL on Friday to join WJBK Detroit. Not sure when he starts there (edit: looks like he starts December 15th). He interned at WJBK in college and he grew up in Livonia, a suburb of Detroit.
  20. Read on NewsBlues that WATN's chief met, Paul Williams, had a (non-fatal) heart attack yesterday. The guy he replaced (Mark Walden) died of a heart attack, and that guy replaced another guy (Brian Teigland) who died from a heart attack. Good lord.
  21. Oh, and RE: Jim's age vs. Rob's age... Jim is actually two months older than Rob. Both 65.
  22. Yeah, I was second guessing myself when I was typing "replacement." I couldn't think of another word, though.
  23. Not only have they been on the 5 for longer than ten years now, they were together in the morning for god knows how long before that. I kind of wish Lisa Thomas-Laury hadn't gotten ill, I think she would be a great replacement for when Jim retires.
