Again folks, as I find stuff, I post it. Right now, I'm focusing on getting the 20+ year old newscasts. Once I get to the 2000s, I've got tons, and it will take some time just in uploading stuff (just the real time converting and uploading the files takes a while - and I have a full-time+ job and am taking a class in the evenings).

I'm going to start linking everything off of a web-site - which will probably become my "Classic Newscast Museum". Once I get stuff posted (and a standard page format developed), I'll let everyone know...

David Wittman went to Cleveland after 9 1/2 years at WCPX/WKMG

  2. Tom Green, KWGN's longtime morning anchor and KUSA's sports anchor of a bygone era, has been hired to anchor the 4 and 5pm news on KUSA according to his Twitter.
“I always figured I’d return to 9NEWS at some point,” Green told KUSA “It’s where I started my career in Colorado and has always felt like home.”
  3. Changes from one Sinclair station to another. Bill Kelly the Chief Meteorologist at WSYX/ABC 6 On Your Side in Columbus, OH moves to become Chief Meteorologist at WJLA/ABC 7 in D.C.

Many folks have left WSYX, and the beat continues.....

So rumor had it that Veronica Johnson went to WJLA when NBC4 brought in Doug Kammerer as chief meteorologist vs not promoting her. Now I see that WJLA has also brought in someone from the outside to be chief meteorologist
  4. Bob Kendrick, ABC 6 and FOX 28 News Anchor offered this comment about Harris’ announcement, “I'm sorry to see Yolanda go, but Bill Kelly and I are excited about the success ABC 6 and FOX 28 News has experienced, as well as what the future brings.”
