Something a bit different, but great graphic design...in Spanish, no less. The network only lasted some three years.
Telenoticias 1995:
(possibly from the network's first broadcast; based in Miami)
*"A new level of excellence in international news coverage" promo with spinning globe
*Opener
*3D ID
More: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niBZKwgm6PA
*In addition to the promo above and some break bumpers...
*Vida (lifestyles) segment opener
*Negocios (business) segment opener
(Isn't that music package beautiful?)

Two years later, CBS gained control and added its name to the network...
Telenoticias 1997 (transition):
*Notice the CBS Telenoticias signage and promotions though the Telenoticias graphics appear at some points
*A Telenoticias promo using the America's Station production music (sounds like 615's Pinnacle?) from FirstCom: "The Best Way to See the World Closer"
CBS Telenoticias 1997:
*Headlines
*Opener with flying CBS eye and world element: "CBS Telenoticias...world news in 30 minutes."
*Better copy of 1997 news theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZWl4CBef7Q (the beginning sounds like CBS, too!)
Some American stations carried some of Telenoticias' newscasts, at least in late 1994 or 1995:
WSNS, KUBD (now KPXC), XHRIO (now the Fox border blaster in Brownsville), and KMSG among them. Also Mexico City's XHTVM (a station with far more than a colorful history, which needs to be read to be fully understood) rebroadcasted some newscasts. The look is very nice, and I almost wonder if it's the same firm that did WTVJ in this time frame and/or the same designers as WSVN's Newsplex given the Miami connection.
