  2. Some well deserved honors for former ABC33/40 anchor Dave Baird was inducted into the Alabama Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10156642193790842
  3. I believe Hot Bench will move to WBCB or Nexstar27/33. Ellen will move to 3 and Dr.Pill will stay on at 4. I don't see Today's WFMJ dropping Live or Judge Judy.
  4. I agree when EW Scripps pushed Leon Bibb and Lee Jordan out "so called retirement". I knew Leon wouldn't set back, I know he did come back on WEWS once or twice after leaving. Cleveland TV news market is very great market when it comes to talent. We are proud to have Leon and all other others.
  5. Meanwhile at 13th and Lakeside in Cleveland. Leon Bibb returns back to TV at WKYC. https://www.wkyc.com/mobile/article/entertainment/television/wkyc/leon-bibb-brings-his-storytelling-back-to-wkyc/95-580932541 https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1928508563858652
  6. Meanwhile at 7 Broadcast Plaza in Buffalo. Keith Radford is going to part time work starting in 2019. https://buffalonews.com/2018/08/01/radford-shifting-to-work-part-time-at-channel-7-next-year
  7. Speaking of Scripps. They have announced 1st set of new owners of Tulsa radio stations. https://radioinsight.com/headlines/169102/scripps-sells-tulsa-cluster-to-griffin-communications/
  8. For once it is not Sinclair or Nexstar. This should be a easy approval once divestments owners are found. I am glad they aren't trying to ask for waivers. Once the paperwork is up we will all see what they are planning. Gary in Cleveland, Charlotte and Cincinnati talk about moving in the market rank.
  9. They used the News Series 3000 open. It is refreshing to see the old "4" being used.
  10. Sad news at Dispatch's WTHR. Andrea Morehead announced today in a recorded message she has breast cancer. Thoughts and prayers to Andrea and her family and friends and colleagues at WTHR.
  11. Another one leaving WNEP.
  12. Meanwhile in Columbus at Sinclair6. Marshall McPeek has been promoted to chief. http://abc6onyourside.com/news/local/marshall-mcpeek-promoted-to-abc-6fox-28-chief-meteorologist
  13. Video of WSAZ 1999 celebrating 50 years.
  14. Meanwhile in the Youngstown market at WFMJ. Morning anchor Mike Case is leaving the station for a job in sales. I'm sure cake will be severed next week on his last day. This is 2nd on air person to leave WFMJ since January. That is all from Today's WFMJ wait wrong station slogan and name. http://www.wfmj.com/story/37894798/wfmj-todays-mike-case-moving-on-to-new-job
  15. I agree they could have chosen something more better. The good thing Aerial is gone thank goodness.
  16. SAM's Extreme package. That set and graphic overhaul was way overdue.
  17. I agree 100% and complete with GroupW "4".
  18. Anyone love a good reboot? See what WBZ did with "One4All". Complete with well at the end you will see it.
  19. Nexstar owned WVNS has new voiceover and added a ticker. Could changes be coming soon to this former WVMH station and rest? Stay tuned.
  20. Morning weather forecaster at WFMJ in Youngstown left the station. She is off to Nexstar's WTEN/WXXA. Cake was served on WFMJ Today.
  21. Now this a gem from Cleveland's Own Newscenter8.
  22. I am going to search and ask people I know in the Huntington-Charleston market for old tapes of WOWK, WSAZ and Sinclair8.
