That would explain why they haven't posted anything on Facebook for the last four hours. Their last post was of Kyle Kraska returning to the station for a visit, the first time since being shot. What a coincidence.
Not sure if it would have to do with a new GM, but I would have to think that KMOV will pick up new graphics soon. They'll probably pick up something similar to what WFSB recently debuted.
I have started searching for possible websites for the ComCorp stations and it appears as if I found a few.
WVLA: batonrougehomepage.com
KETK: easttexasmatters.com
KWKT: ourcentraltexas.com
Still can't find the one for KTSM.
Add one more to that list. Larry Stogner, longtime anchor at WTVD, has been diagnosed with ALS and is taking time off. https://www.facebook.com/ABC11/photos/a.82214697549.81177.57780972549/10152862369442550/
What really makes it interesting is that KEVN does not have any subchannels. So that theory is out the window...
For those not aware of the market, here's the rundown:
NBC: KNBN (channel 21; brands as "NewsCenter 1")
CBS: KCLO (channel 15; a satellite of KELO in Sioux Falls)
ABC: KOTA (channel 3; the #1 station in the market by far)
Fox: KEVN (channel 7)
The CW: KWBH-LP (sister to KNBN; broadcasts on 21.2)
MyNetworkTV: secondary affiliation on KNBN's .3?
Maybe they take the MyNetworkTV affiliation for K23KK?
That company comes up in TVNewsCheck's station trading roundups almost every week. Here is their portfolio. Seems like they're launching new MyNetworkTV and Telemundo affiliates in some places.
Interesting.
Almost seems that KAIT-DT2 will be a semi-satellite of WMC. NBC was supposed to launch on KJNE-LP (now KJNB-LP) under New Moon but that never happened. The only market that New Moon was supposed to launch an NBC affiliate and still doesn't have one now is Kirksville, MO / Ottumwa, IA (the others were Jonesboro, Dothan, AL and Jackson, TN).
Speaking of Orlando, WOFL and WRBW have partnered with new MLS side Orlando City SC to air their matches in their inaugural 2015 season. http://www.orlandocitysc.com/post/2014/12/16/orlando-city-announces-fox-35-local-broadcast-partner
We have our replacement for Geoff Roth at WJZY/WMYT. It's Karen Koutsky, former assistant ND at WTHR.
And we also have our newest MyNetworkTV affiliate, and it's KCCI-DT3, which takes KDMI's place as the affiliate in Des Moines.
