  1. Ah yes, Scott Dorval. He's the chief at KIVI now. I've always wondered about that theme too. Here's two themes that I was wondering about. WHIO 1995: (1:12) WCPO 1995: (their first theme as an ABC affiliate)
  2. Holy crap. This station just can't catch a break. Prayers to the Foye family.
  3. Just found this out: Robert Geha is retiring from KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
  4. Oh man...this stuff always hurts, no matter who it is on what station. I've never watched WCTI or even been to that region. But it's always a tough time when this stuff happens. RIP Skip. You will be dearly missed. WNCT and WITN have passed along their condolences.
  5. Not only new graphics (Belo ripoffs) but Bob Tracey is now the VO. Speaking of Gray, KGNS [FINALLY!!!!!] has new graphics.
  6. KTVX is considering several new designs for its website. There are three possibilities but you'll probably only be shown one. If you refresh this page and click it again you should be able to get another design.
  7. Not to mention that they use Signature for their opens and Overture for everything else. The logo that they use in the L3 is nice. The other two are utter BS.
  8. WDTV in Bridgeport, WV is getting a new set.
  9. Where's the "A GANNETT COMPANY" on WHAS' new site???
  10. Here we go! This is KQDS in Duluth, MN. What's worse is that these are fairly new graphics for them. http://www.fox21online.com/sites/default/files/Evening%20Update%2010-21-14.mp4
  11. I'm hoping that WHOI will get a similar face lift like KDBC. Oops. This gaffe was made at KOMO. It was Peyton Manning that broke the record, not Gary Payton.
  12. It's a huge issue and I love what ASU is doing. But it is a tad bit extreme to have every station in the state air the report. It appears that WVNY and WFFF have refreshed graphics, but not new ones. And they still use whatever production music it is from 2009 that I can't find.
  13. Another station that uses those graphics is . Overall it's an OK look.
  14. I don't see anything that says that WLII is shut down...
  15. New promos for KDBC. Interesting that Brian Lee and not Richard Malmos is the VO.
  16. WREG sent out this tweet this morning... (it's been deleted now)
  17. Speaking of that market, . RIP, Palmer News Package. You will be missed.
  18. Add KRCG in Jefferson City, MO to that list. KRCG is tops in Jeff City while KOMU dominates Columbia.
  19. Speaking of Nexstar, I have no idea how we missed this. MyNetworkTV programming in Springfield, MO, which was originally a secondary affiliation on KRBK, has moved to KOZL. In addition, KRBK is now "Fox 5".
  20. I hope the Sinclair package goes to WPMI and WEAR brings back the Hummingbird theme in some form. It probably won't happen though.
  21. Sinclair has announced that ASN will now begin broadcasting the Western Athletic Conference. The schools in the conference are: California State University, Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA; Sinclair owns KBAK) Chicago State University (Chicago, IL) Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, AZ) University of Missouri - Kansas City (Kansas City, MO) New Mexico State University (Las Cruces, NM; Sinclair owns KDBC and KFOX) Seattle University (Seattle, WA; Sinclair owns KOMO) University of Texas - Pan American (Edinburg, TX; Sinclair owns KGBT) Utah Valley University (Orem, UT; Sinclair owns KUTV)
  22. Another Look G ripoff, courtesy of KNBN in Rapid City, SD: http://www.newscenter1.tv/news/watch-newscasts
  23. CBS does have an affiliate on Puerto Rico but it's only available on cable. It is a localized feed of Erie, PA's WSEE. And NBC on WKAQ's .2 is a simulcast of WNBC. Not sure why it's WNBC and not WTVJ.
  24. DEVLIN!!!! At the new building at 200 South Alto Mesa, I assume. So will this be KDBC's new set as well? Or are they getting a separate set?
