  1. Looks like WDKY/FOX56 has picked their morning anchors.
  2. Also WYMT since 2014. Wish they would bring back the previous WYMT logo, but drop the 57.
  3. Ha. A very directional news station. North central West Virginia.
  4. Not official... WDKY FOX56 We’re creating a brand-new newsroom and want a meteorologist for our evening newscasts who connects with our viewers and values her/his teammates. WDKY is looking for a PM Meteorologist. AM Meteorologist Weekend Sports Anchor / Reporter AM News Producer Reporter / MMJ News Photographer / MMJ News Producer - PM Sports Anchor/Reporter News AM Anchor
  5. Now looks like an Assistant News Director job. How often do you get the chance to build a local TV newsroom? https://nexstar.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/nexstar/job/Nexstar---WDKY/Assistant-News-Director_REQ-10326
  6. I do like the new ABC logo, but not the size of it. Rather the ABC size be same size as the 7 logo and be right beside it. Like CBS 2 for example. By 2033, we should have this logo.
  7. Waiting to see if Gray moves WYMT off channel 12, but they have a huge coverage on that channel.
  8. I don’t think I’d seen that open before. Nice! Yeah that has a VOD feel to it.
  9. Who did the Media General graphics or as I called it the cloud look (Counterpoint era) graphics for WTVQ/WJHL/WSLS/WNCT/WCBD/KALB in the mid-late 90's?
  10. Ha, I just saw this and put in the speculation chat. Yeah to me, this makes me think this is just the start of ending the relationship with WKYT and nothing against WKYT, just wanting to go out on their own. Not sure when that ends. If we start to see anchors/meteorologist job postings for WDKY, then here is our sign.
  11. Currently here in Lexington WTVQ and now Inyo’s WUPX both are carrying LAFF tv. Both equally look like crap. WLEX has court tv in HD and and WUPX doesn’t. Maybe that will change.
  12. I've always heard low VHF band signal is supposed to "bend" over these mountains? Figured that is why they stayed on channel 5 all these years. Going from a 90 mile contour 78.9 mile contour. With a lot of the Gray stations moving to from VHF to UHF like listed above, waiting on WYMT to get off channel 12, but at least it's not low VHF.
  13. Guessing a lot of the staff isn’t working from home either? Guessing a lot of the staff isn’t working from home either?
  14. Looks like WDKY has a nexstar looking school closing ticker.
  15. Cool. Hopefully some different sub channels down the road.
  16. Anything going to change with the new owners of the divested/INYO stations?
  17. I believe it took WDKY a week to get the Nexstar closing animation back in the fall, but then again it's market 63, not 1.
  18. Yep, and the website has both as of now.
  19. I really hope some of the older Gray stations get an update, but most likely won't until the ALL the Raycom stations get updated. WYMT has had the same look since 4/2014 and WKYT since 9/2015
  20. Ah yes. Don't miss that combo anymore. Now we just have Morris left in Lexington. Hope that changes soon lol but WDKY went dark around 7 last night. At least Nexstar is giving WDKY an antenna upgrade, from directional to non directional to improve their coverage.
  21. WDKY-56 now has the nexstar website: https://foxlexington.com/
  22. WLEX open in 1994.
  23. Has an in-house/gray look.
  24. WLEX in Oct 1992 News promo and Sunrise promo.
  25. CINCINNATI – The E.W. Scripps Company (NASDAQ: SSP) will expand its commitment to Michigan audiences early next year by producing its own local newscasts at WSYM, its Fox affiliate in Lansing. The introduction of local news operations at WSYM builds on Scripps’ footprint across Michigan: its three markets reach approximately 81% of the state’s TV households. Scripps also owns WXYZ (ABC) and WMYD (MY Network) in Detroit and WXMI (Fox) in Grand Rapids. WSYM previously aired local news from WILX, the NBC affiliate in Lansing owned by Gray Television. https://scripps.com/press-releases/scripps-station-expands-news-operations/
