I'm guessing the graphics team is still getting used to the new lower thirds because that's a lot of empty space for the text to be that condensed. Not really liking the extra large logo, but that's on par with the national network design so it's unsurprising that local is trying to mimic the general style.

It's probably in her contract that she does not do any newscasts besides the weekday 6pm.

As of tonight's 5/6pm broadcast, the jacket's off and the sleeves are rolled up. I guess it's officially serious now. :lol:
