  1. https://www.facebook.com/share/18abJZc5bd/ Not WDKY declining to renew Marvin Bartlett's contract. This is just sad.
  2. Give them time. Im surprised Nexstar didn't say anything about that.
  3. Hold on? Sinclair actually did that?
  4. Wouldn't that be WZPX?
  5. If they had just done the divestitures in the first place, we wouldn't be talking about this. In any case, I agree with you.
  6. "Nexstar must permit Tegna to continue operating as a separate and distinct, independently managed business unit from Nexstar, and Nexstar must put measures in place to maintain Tegna as an ongoing, economically viable, and active competitor. Tegna shall have separate management that operates Tegna in the ordinary course consistent with pre-closing practices." It better NOT be anyone from Mission!!!
  7. I'm waiting on the day Kim acquires Sinclair and announces Deb McDermott is gonna lead the company. You just know its gonna happen.
  8. But...but....but....they said they wouldn't do this. They said they wanted to preserve voices.
  9. I hope the state of Illinois is taking serious notes right now since this involves WSIL.
  10. Along these lines, could divestitures be ordered in all states where there are conflicts or just the ones who joined together for the suit? In other words, does this mean that they can keep WBNS and KVUE (for example) but have to sell KENS, WXIA, WJXX, etc? Also, is there any possibility that Nexstar would have to transfer any stations it had before Tegna to a trust as well?
  11. Wouldn't this mean that they would have to transfer the Tegna stations to a trust?
  12. Given that KLEW is now being operated by Rincon, who's to say they wont start simulcasting some news from KXLY (or even add a simulcast of both KXLY and KAYU on the subchannels)
  13. While Rincon turns over the keys to Sinclair in Tulsa, it is planning to take the lead role in operating KIMA and KEPR. https://www.tri-cityherald.com/news/business/article314592261.html
  14. What is it with the right leaning companies refusing to take no for an answer? First Paramount, now them.
  15. I find it hard to believe WINK's owners are liberal leaning because of a radio station called Trump Country, which by the way, I find absolutely ridiculous. And I'd say the same thing about any radio station named after any politician.
