1. Betty Nguyen named anchor of PIX 11 morning news. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/betty-nguyen-leaves-nbc-for-wpix/190190
2. WPLG's Victor Oquendo joins ABC News as Miami based correspondent starting in July. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/victor-oquendo-leaving-wplg-for-abc-news/189875
3. Eugene Ramirez is the new morning anchor at CBS 4, WFOR. He previously worked as the morning anchor at WFLA in Tampa, and at WSVN and WSFL here Miami. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/miami-cbs-station-adds-morning-co-anchor/183678
4. I'm one of those viewers who switched over to Today, I flipped between Today and CBS This Morning. GMA with Michael and the new format is just unwatchable.
5. Lester Holt is filling in this morning.
6. My thoughts exactly, it would make more sense to air it at 10 after their morning news.
7. Looks like WSVN will start airing Fox News Sunday at 9 AM instead of the overnight hours.
8. Today is Sarah's last day on GMA. She moves over to The View. Theweekend GMA team is the best on TV, I'm going to miss her on the weekends.
9. Also Jenise Fernandez will replace Constance as noon anchor while continuing her evening traffic duties.
10. On yesterday's or Wednesday's episode of Today, I really didn't like how Matt was so quick to call Ari Melber wrong after his live report back in NY with Savanah. Ari's point was that comparing both accounts of Lochte's story, the one with Bush then with Lauer, left so much to wonder b/c of many discrepancies. However, Matt was quick to say not much changed, Ari was reaching too much. Now that this has blown into a bigger issue, I wonder how Matt feels.
11. Starring Monday, the always on format moves to mornings on NBC 6.
12. Noticed the same thing here on WTVJ. WFOR also does the same for CBS This Morning.
13. As a regular GMA viewer, I agree 100%. Jesse is more natural in that position. I can honestly see him in George's chair down the line, whereas, it's hard for me to picture what role Michael really fulfill on the show. Michael should have stayed with Kelly. It's so cringeworthy seeing him presenting and interacting with others on the show. As far as successors for Robin and George, I think Amy definitely should get the job whenever Robin decides to leave and I'd keep an eye on Dan Harris, Jesse Palmer, and TJ Holmes for George.
14. Another one gone, the weekend morning meteorologist Smith left unexpectedly not too long ago too. It's like a mass exodus at that station.
15. I think that was planned ahead for the RNC convention coverage. Lester and Scott anchored their respective broadcast for the same reason too.
16. Bobby Brooks out at NBC 6, apparently heading to 6ABC WPVI. http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/7/3/3-and-out-in-miami
17. Looks like Bobby Brooks is headed to Philadelphia after 3 years here in Miami at WTVJ NBC 6. Brooks is originally from PA. http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/7/3/3-and-out-in-miami
18. Tom Llamas read the headlines at the toth 8AM.
19. I misspoke my apologies
20. Stephanie Ruhle just said on Today she'll be anchoring on MSNBC during the 9 am hour starting tomorrow. What's the fixed schedule like these days?
21. GMA appears to have a new segments: "The Big Board" with experts/analysts weighing in on the day's hot topics and "Hot Shot" the day's viral pictures and/or videos. Plus they're starting to use Michael much more throughout the show and less Lara Spencer.
22. Including WSFL...
23. I think I have it figured out now. Erika Delgado moves to weekend evenings, Adam Berg weekdays, and the new meteorologist weekend mornings.
24. I agree. Maybe add Sara Haines as the fifth one. On days Whoopi and Raven are off, Paula seems to do fine, however, when they're not things get so cringeworthy.
