If he was still with the station I am sure they would have announced something kinda like when KNDO stopped their Yakima only newscasts and the female anchor was moving to the Tri-Cities. They announced it.

Looks like KIMA is moving toward the same as KNDO and KAPP, operating more as a small bureau serving the Tri-Cities. With the former KCYU FOX now branded regionally as FOX Yakima & Tri-Cities since its technically a digital channel of KIMA and doesn't belong to KCYU since that's now ROAR. With this market is consolidating, I wouldn’t be surprised if within the next couple of years most of KNDO/KNDU ends up being produced out of KHQ. with just a couple of local inserts and reporters in valley. The same will be for KAPP/KVEW out of KXLY.

I think its live again at 11pm but a repeat does air at 10pm on SWX
-
no they are titled NonStop Local Wake Up, NonStop Local at 4, 5, and 6

I believe it's the result of some recent changes across the Yakima/Tri-Cities and Spokane markets. From what I can tell, KNDO/KNDU are now primarily producing weekday morning, 5pm, and 6pm newscasts, along with limited weekend broadcasts. KHQ's 11pm newscast is now airing on KNDO/KNDU, and they’ve added a 9pm broadcast on their SWX, after losing the 10pm newscast on KAYU. The 9pm show is called NonStop Local Pulse Prime and I guess they decided to rename the 11pm to that as well.

I agree! I thought for a brief time they were grooming her to replace Andrea Mitchell as the foreign affairs correspondent role. I wish NBC would have moved her over to NBC News Now and anchored the hours that are repeats of Morning News Now.

Several of those anchors did shows for the Montana stations as well I believe or at least they used too

Crazy since KIMA/KEPR produce the 10pm news on The CW. I wonder if they would simulcast that newscast on both CW and FOX
-
that's what it sounded like CBC in Vancouver
-
Wonder if they will still have it "with Joyce Taylor" at 5pm. Too bad they are losing the logos like KING 5 Mornings and 9NEWS Mornings and going to "This Morning"
-
KUSA started to switch over to the new opens yesterday
-
I wonder how long until Seattle moves West Coast Wrap to 6:30pm as well.
-
after looking at the program guide on CBS LA the 4pm newscast is now just on CBS LA and on KCAL its the Perfect Line now.
-
CW just signed with KUNS to become the CW station in 2023 are they going to break the contract for KONG to take CW?
-
looks like NBC is launching an 30 minute addition to Saturday Today with Saturday Today Extra. Looks like Saturday Today is going back to 2 full hours. I see it on the channel guide for KING5, WNBC and WXIA so far

I don't care for Nightly in 1A. It would be nice to have Nightly/Top Story in its own studio along with special reports/breaking news. Could use for other broadcasts as well.

Just like when Brian Williams took over from Tom Brokaw, they waited a bit to switch up the graphics to ease in the change for the viewers. The networks did the same when transitioning from Charles Gibson to Diane Sawyer to David Muir. Same went for the morning shows Bryant/Katie to Katie/Matt etc.

She is going to monthly pieces for Todsy starting around April and will be with them for the next 2 olympic coverages

CNBC doesn’t stand for consumer news & business channel they legally changed that years ago I think around their 10 year anniversary or so. Also with the change in ownership I thought I heard somewhere they are keeping their name the same. But MSNBC might have to change their name somehow due to the MS part if NBC was to sell it.

The News Anchor role is not like how it was when Matt, Ann or Natalie were in that role. Its more of a Contributing Anchor that reads a couple of the headlines with the Co-Anchors and does smaller segments starting in the 8am hour. I have a feeling it will become the following Savannah Guthrie Co-Anchor Criag Melvin Co-Anchor Al Roker Weather Anchor Sheinelle Jones News Anchor (if they keep it) 3rd Hour remains the same 4th hour Jenna Bush Hager Co-Host will go with a rotation and maybe pull the old Live with Regis and audition people for a while.

I always rhought Harry would have been great anchor for Sunday Today or CBS Sunday Morning. Reminds me of the Charles (Kuralt/Osgood).
-
Sue leaving I believe was budget cuts with NBC 2.0. These cuts hit at every level of NBC Universal. They kept Chuck since he was more willing to be promotions, projects and other things. Sue mostly just anchored at that point.

I think they will do with KING5 does it doesn’t give their second station its own online. They do list KUNS schedule in their live section
-
I wonder what game show or soap it will replace?
-
I don’t think CBS is gonna add a midday newscast anytime soon. Looks like they are doing more recorded hours on CBS News Streaming. If anything I can see them adding to streaming before broadcast network. Even then do a simulcast like NBC
