Not often that you see a station using the network's proprietary typeface in their graphics.

And probably because of some glitching out with the current ticker setup, KDKA temporarily switched back to the old ticker that launched with the package back in 2023.

And the 1991-2006 music is back, in addition to the updated logo and graphics.

When Velshi started this morning, the alignment of the bottom bar got adjusted up a tiny bit.

In an interesting turn of events, WMUR has gotten the new graphics; and has switched over from Hearst Classic to Strive for music as well.

It won’t surprise me if WMUR also gets the boxier looking graphics when they switch over.

According to our UK counterparts on Pres Cafe, this picture of the studio was heavily sepia-toned.

And the interesting thing is, the ABC News channel was HD from its launch in 2010 until ABC TV HD relaunched in 2016.

I don't think that's a green screen set. It looks like the actual set. The back floor of the set is a screen.

CBS News 24/7 has been carrying coverage of WUSA, ABC News Live has been doing their own coverage, and NBC News Now has been carrying WRC's coverage when they're not showing Special Report coverage. CBC News is following this as well with The National in breaking news mode, due in part to the passenger plane being a Canadian-made Bombardier CRJ-701 manufactured in 2004. -
Another thing to note: the headlines music bed was used during the story teases when going out to the first commercial break. So even if its not being used in its traditional location in the broadcast, it's still being used for something.
