Press released only stated matt Lauer will host today from dc along with al Roker and will have chuck Todd and Nicolle Wallace. They have never had a spilt show on inauguration it was fully all in DC. You would think they would announce his co-anchor for that day in the release.

They would have to be moving the 9am hour to a new studio for that. Studio 1a would only have room for a small group. I always liked Later Today's studio/set but that's long gone.

In the late 90's it was usually Sara James (she was Ann's main back up until moving to Australia) if the whole crew was on location somewhere but for the most part Ann Curry always stayed behind. Now usually someone like Hoda or a top correspondent would be on stand by.

MSNBC has a new weekly show Pulse of America airing Sunday's at 3pm. I thought it was a special like the road warriors but anchors and the Facebook page all state weekly

I'm surprised he didn't get a new contract when he took over Sunday Today. I would have thought that would have been part of the new contract getting rid of 3rd hour of today

I think its gonna end up being 1 hour now. I was thinking they would just scrap First Look, but now that is Morning Joe First Look.
