1. Two white house correspondents in nyc every Saturday. Are they going to share a ride? Relocate to washington bureau?
2. Should have moved her over to MSNBC. Worked well for Briwi As I said before.. Steve Kornacki is going to love his new video walls...
3. Doubtful, their not gonna risk ratings how they are with Savannah and Hoda. Who the hell do they have left to replace her
4.
5. Any changes to 1A? [ edit to add the following] Saturday Today came from Studio 6A today. I did not watch and do not know if they had an live audience.
6. Any idea what studio Today is coming from this morning? Sheinelle has a loop of 30 rock plaza behind her, and Dave Price did weather from the same studio at a large video grid. Looks very polished for an insert studio.
7. "This was a terrible comment I made in poor taste during the height of the Bill Cosby headlines. I realize that's no excuse. I deeply regret it and I'm sorry." - Matthews https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/chris-matthews-apologizes-making-bill-cosby-pill-joke-hillary-clinton-n837481
8. As previously discussed I know that it would be foolish/ impossible to pull Savannah but I wouldn’t hate a Megyn- Hoda partnership. When she was just new to the network she guest hosted the 11am hour when Kathie was out and I really liked the chemistry between Kelly and Hoda. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but Savannah really doesn’t do anything for me. My second dream anchoring duo would be Megyn Kelly and Brian Williams. I feel as if their wits are perfect for each other. Most likely the most improbable thing ever but I would love to see it. I also mentioned a while back it would be cool to see Williams on Morning Joe, hell might even give me a reason to wake up earlier.
9. Did anyone catch Kasie DC last night?
10. Only thing that reminded me of 'Today' was the untimely constant commercial breaks
11. That was pretty entertaining. I understand the frustration to a degree but that was pretty ruthless. Looks like his staff was used to it, not even flitching every time he yelled.
12. Here's the promo I referenced last night:
13. Apologizing in advance for terrible quality of these screenshots... A sneak peak inside studio 6A, home of Megyn Kelly Today: Screengrabs from an ad that aired during NBC Nightly News.
14. With school being canceled all week for the hurricane, I have immersed myself with some of TV's morning offerings. Very impressed with Today's Take (granted this is the only episode i've seen in full), the chemistry between everyone feels very real. What will happen to Jones, Roker, and Dreyer? The later two I imagine will expand their weather roles with Today, but I have not seen Sheinelle on MSNBC lately. Being a personality/host is kinda a secondary role of all them.
15. Who's in charge of naming the feed?
16. Eh not sure which I'd prefer, Brian Williams taking forever to make a point or Katy Tur fumbling over every other word. Love them both, but can't stand a full hour of either.
17. Quoting Megyn Kelly's interview with WNYT, NBC in Albany : "This new show will have a lighter tone, but she says it won't be fluffy by any means". - Any updates or speculation on what studio will be used?
18. If this is anything like it, I definitely understand where you are coming from. Not a big fan of it, seems a little over the top. The continuous branding behind him reminds me of Hardball. A NewscastStudio article says it's in 3A, which is weird because Nightly is going on during that time.
19. Did anyone catch it? I didn't have a chance to watch it.
20. MSNBC will be live tonight (Sunday) until 7pm. Yasmin Vossoughian anchoring MSNBC live from video wall section of 3A, showing a loop of 4E. New city graphics visible behind guests, notice the Nightly News inspired shot of rock center on the left in the upper right box.
21. [GALLERY=media, 1010]IMG_0731 by LivefromNewYork posted Jul 1, 2017 at 10:58 AM[/GALLERY] Saw this on AM Joy this morning. Series premieres Friday at 9PM EDT.
22. Ali Velshi is by far the best on MSNBC Live. He is a hard news reporter who loves numbers. I can see why they paired him and Stephanie Rhule together for 11:00, (both have a past in finance) but Rhule always comes off very whiny. She voices the usual amount of speculation you'd expect for MSNBC, but the whole "yep Trump did this" followed by a scowl and the "wow" after each reporter, gets to me. I don't necessarily like criticizing anyone but it gets to a point where the network is as only good as their people.
