  1. And they deleted the clip a short time later
  2. The only person I think NN has in their New York side is Tom Negovan (former WGN News At Noon Anchor)
  3. I took some time out to catch on the 4pm and finally seeing that CBS 2 not only uses the “Swinging” cut of “The Enforcer” package for “NonStop News” in the morning but also being used for “Four Stories At Four”
  4. And with Stacey Baca preparing to sign off in the next few weeks they’re probably looking closely between Jordan and Nagy maybe. Let’s not forget the last female who anchored weekend Mornings on ABC 7 I believe was Judie García.
  5. I second that when it comes to Padilla. After Darlene Hill left, Padilla's demeanor just became eh.
  6. https://abc7chicago.com/abc7-eyewitness-news-chicago-anchor-stacey-baca/11808892/?ex_cid=TA_WLS_FB&utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR3CWj6Af2WiaM-dIahtHjzlGeQzqpzMQrY-smti2wCoE-XphzSAsAOVWSI Confirmed
  7. And the only modification on the desk is that it has wheels.
  8. Mark made it clear in multiple interviews he’s done with the biz, in addition to that he sent his message across stating that he will NEVER forgive her and forget what went down.
  9. Ed Curran talks about why he was away. He’s expected to be back 4/2!
  10. Donlon Making a move back to WGN would sound pointless IMO. Besides Slots for anchors there are full.
  11. Wait I thought Tellez anchored from 4-6am?
  12. And speaking of renovations, Dawn Hasbrouck showed a photo of their new Fox 32 newsroom
  13. It was a huge news day when it Kayden announced her NN hire, and I forgot to post about that, however it’s in my newscasts from my “Briefly Tonight” portion on YT.
  14. That’s been out in the news the past two weeks
  15. It is possibly time for new graphics. Going on at least 8 1/2 years. Plus yes, around the fall will be marking 30 years since NS2K+ came along and became the major and lifelong piece of Chicago news music history.
  16. From 3 predecessors ago! Rare!
  17. Dina Bair says Patrick Elwood has been named co-anchor for WGN Midday News.
  18. He addressed the possibility of the lawsuit in a podcast back in November. He said he along with his agent (Joel Weisman) and his brother were going to take it to court. Mark also added that WLS kept a LOG of Burton’s complaints to management on not only him but other anchors and reporters claiming she felt she was being dissed.
  19. Mark also revealed that he was going to sue both ABC7 and Burton for this fallout. But the station gave him the buyout to prevent him from going through with the lawsuit Many people have gone after Burton not only for this but it was also revealed that she was apparently always making fun of the late Jerry Taft’s weight on air and no apparent repercussions were brought into it. Management is another thing. Many viewers aren't too fond of Mr. Idler. Let’s not forget what happened to many others (i.e. Perez and Caplan).
  20. Many call for her to be fired after what happened 9 months ago. Despite the ratings apparently being decent, not many care for her after the Giangreco fallout.
  21. If you look closely in the 2001 package, Jerry and John’s pose shots from 1999 were resued’
  22. Found an oldie (without a “Rebroadcast” label)
  23. In all honesty NBC 5 made a bold move!
  24. Officially confirmed: the four o’clock news comeback https://www.robertfeder.com/2021/12/16/cbs-2-taps-jim-williams-marie-saavedra-co-anchor-new-4-p-m-weekday-newscast/
