Sad to see her go! She really has done an amazing job anchoring Midday the past year, and her overall reporting over the years was great!

Mark is having a field day on Twitter. He already addressed that he was going to just live life (in an interview). If he does ever make a comeback into the biz he’ll reveal it. In all honesty he didn’t wanna leave NBC 5 all those years ago, knowing he was leaving his colleagues/friends.

Siafa Lewis is leaving NBC5 for Philly! https://www.robertfeder.com/2021/10/26/siafa-lewis-exits-leila-rahimi-joins-nbc-5-sports-team/

Last time WBBM had two meteorologists during the afternoon/evening hrs was back when the news at 4 existed (03-05)

Or Robb probably passed on that offer when he was filling in during those 10 months. On air personalities have personal lives they wanna tend to ya know..

Yes he did anchor mornings with Zoraida, before then he was weekend mornings with Ellee Pai Hong and Anita Padilla

I met Zoraida at the tower a few years back she was filling in for Pat on the 4. It’s sad to see her leave.

I was already told a few months back that Mike Caplan didn’t want the evening position.
-
And lets not forget the surviving one Dana Kozlov!

Indeed they did. Multiple times, but the last time was from 2003-05, when they expanded from the 4:30pm time slot and as then Antonio Mora was anchoring alongside Childers before Blakley did
-
Again?! Let’s see, the last to anchor CBS 2 news at 4p was Mary-Ann Childers and Derrick Blakley, which Blakley had came from NBC 5.

Former ABC 7 Hungry Hound Steve Dolinsky is jumping over to NBC5 https://www.robertfeder.com/2021/08/02/steve-dolinsky-makes-reservation-nbc-5-food-guy/?fbclid=IwAR2YPHtKGiUHGoTK6XZuZr_YL5VO_z8s5CWzW63VIS6elO78Fo42Tc04yW8

Nexstar actually posted the weekend morning anchor position in the careers category

If you take a look at all of WMAQ's opens in the last two decades, it normally changes every 5-7 years. The other change I feel is needed is the desk mainly.
-
Well it has been about 5 years (Which is the time of updated opens). Looks pretty decent, so far, also it's been about 9 years since the set came into play, might be time for a change.

Update: Hassan confirmed it herself. Says she thought about life outside of work in an Instagram post.

Looks like Yasmeen Hassan is out from CBS 2. I took a look at the station site and her bio is no longer there nor is her username on the morning news ticker tape (Bottom Of Screen) is shown. (Screenshot taken, 3/13/2020 during NonStop News Block)
