KCTV in Kansas City still has "People Now" listed at 6:30 for May 2. A likely candidate would be "Inside Edition," since KCTV only carries it at 12:35a and sister station KSMO has it only at 1a.

I wonder if Thomas Roberts will return to hard news?
My market hasn't had Daily Mail since the first season, but all the online ads I've seen were still plugging Jesse Palmer as the host.

Originally that article said likely to be cancelled. Dr. Phil just won’t let The Doctors die easily.

OK, let's do some inventory here:
Shows ending: Ellen, Wendy, Nick, Judge Jerry, The Doctors, Good Dish, Daily Mail TV, Maury (living on in reruns), The Real (is it official?)
Starting this fall: Jennifer Hudson, Sherrie Shepherd (likely taking Wendy's old slots), Pictionary, American Housewife (the only offnet to be officially offered, AFAIK)
Anyone else think that's an imbalance? Are stations ready to run news at 3 or 4p to replace what's leaving?
P.S. I wish Katz had updated its NATPE preview ...

Cutting it in the middle of the TV season is … odd. What are stations supposed to do to fill the spot? More news in many cases, I’m guessing. Or double runs of a show they already have the rights to.
Here's your answer:

As the 'inventor' of the Ring doorbell is a completely known promotionalist (it was a Shark Tank project) to the point of exhaustion, I can believe he only sold it to MGM as a daily strip. The guy goes to extremes to market it, including free devices to homes that install it and let the police know.
Could very well be. I can't predict what the public will go for any more.

Ring Nation...really?!?! MGM is doing five days a week out of this?! We already get enough viral home cam video from local news, RightThisMinute and innumerable magazine shows. Is someone really going to watch 22 minutes of mainly black-and-white nightvision footage of crimes, car accidents and FedEx drivers slipping on ice, and marriage proposals (!?) that basically comes down to 'Amazon Presents: Stretching the terms of service for your doorbell camera to absurd extremes and not paying your users for use of footage'? They're competing with YouTube channels with doorbell footage; never a good sign. And makes me glad I use Nest and Wyze instead.
It never says it's a strip ... did it? The concept screams weekend filler.

Besides Atlanta, what stations with Dr. Oz are not picking up Good Dish?

WDAF moved J! to the 4-5PM hour, back in, I think, September. KSHB last had J! in the 3-4PM hour.
They flipped the Daytime J and first run in mid October

I check out the schedules of stations across the country (with a particular interest in independents, Fox, CW and MyNet), and have found two off-net/off-cable shows that only appear to air weekdays on one station nationwide:
- "Murdoch Mysteries," 9 p.m. weekdays on KCWX, San Antonio
- "The Carbonaro Effect," 5 and 5:30 a.m. weekdays on KCDO, Denver
Do any other stations carry these on weekdays? I'm not a fan of either, but just interested that (perhaps) one station is airing them.

WJZY is airing it at 7 before BBT, WMYT is airing it at 10, after their two runs of BBT, cutting out a run of Schitt’s Creek. What an AWFUL clearance.
YS is getting awful clearances across the country -- 2 and 7 a.m. were the worst I'd seen.

Did anyone tune into the YBYL premiere? Did it seem like a hit? How was the chemistry between Jay Leno and Kevin Eubanks, knowing they haven't been together on TV in 10 years or more?
I pretty much agree with everything here: https://www.forbes.com/sites/marcberman1/2021/09/13/the-laughs-are-slim-in-the-jay-leno-hosted-you-bet-your-life-reboot/?sh=75539df540ac
The good news there is a secret word -- but the bad news is that it's sponsored. And Jay practically led the contestant to saying it in the first episode.

Here's a rundown of Chicago changes:

Have any stations picked up The Carbonaro Effect as a strip for the fall? The only place I've seen it is on KCDO, the independent station in Denver, albeit at 5a.

Does anyone know if The First 48 will be back in syndication this fall? It's disappeared from a couple of schedules.
Also, will Couples, Personal Injury and Protection Court(s) still be distributed, even though there are no new episodes? (I did see that Paternity Court is still circulating, at least on WBNX in Cleveland.)

WLAX has aired it before. Idk if they still do. And I think it also airs in Duluth/Superior.
They had tried to syndicate it nationally a few years ago, IIRC. It currently is on Fox stations in Minnesota and WIsconsin.

Listings for WDIO and KAAL both have K&R staying at 9. Maybe KSTP is just using their content.

WLKY in Louisville gains a 9a newscast, bumping Ellen to 3p -- as a lead-in to Young & Restless?!?

WIBW, the Gray station, is bringing the atrocious Funny You Should Ask to 3p,
It looks like WBTV is dropping it for an infomercial starting September 6. Don’t know if it is going anywhere else in Charlotte.
It's the first time in our market. Can't say I've missed it.

Here in Topeka, there's usually not many changes in ol' Market 143. WIBW, the Gray station, is bringing the atrocious Funny You Should Ask to 3p, bumping Modern Family reruns to post-Corden, while losing the Two and a Half Men rights. KSNT, the flagship of four stations operated by Nexstar (counting CW+), is only adding You Bet Your Leno at 1a.
But KTMJ, its Fox station is making beau coup changes -- mainly flipping the morning court shows and the afternoon talk shows. It's also following the Nexstar talk wave, likely named "Living Local," at 9a, consolidating its 7a "AM Live" newish show and its "Fox 43 @4" lifestyle-ish.
The rest is pretty wholesale changes, like I haven't seen at any station in decades. Here's the before/after:
4A Drew
5A Paid/Family Feud King of Queens/Family Feud
6A Daytime Jeopardy/Bus. First
7A AM Live/Forensic Files Paid/King of Queens
8A Dateline
9A Lifestyle show Hot Bench x2
10A Peoples Court Kelly Clarkson
11A Judge Mathis Drew Barrymore
Noon Divorce Court x2 Wendy Williams
1p Wendy Hot Bench x2
2p Drew Peoples Court
3p Kelly Judge Mathis
4p Fox 43@4/Big Bang YBYL/Two and a Half Men
5p Judge Judy x2 2 1/2/Young Sheldon
6p Big Bang Theory
9p News/Last Man
10p Sheldon/Seinfeld Last Man/King of Q
11p Seinfeld/Last Man King of Q/Mom
Mid. Mom
12:30a First 48 Chicago Fire
1:30a Protection Court SVU
Just now, KS-IL-IA said:10p Last Man/King of Q Sheldon/Seinfeld

I'm very curious about this question: Are there any ABC/CBS/NBC affiliates that air "The Steve Wilkos Show" at anytime?

There's a CBS affil listed, WHP in Pennsylvania, but it's actually their MyTV subchannel.

Robert Feder is reporting that WBBM in Chicago is swapping Drew Barrymore and Let's Make a Deal on Aug. 30, with Drew moving to 9 and LMAD to 2.

Oh, glad to see that the former Meredith stations have gone from their clunky, hard-to-use listings service to Titan.
