Thanks for the info on The Liquidator. Sounds like Storage Wars meets Pawn Stars. But it's a fairly old show to put into reruns...aired from 2012-15 on Canada's OLN network. It was filmed in Burnaby, BC, near Vancouver.

PPI, its distributor, keeps syndicating Canadian shows hoping one of them will hit the jackpot.

  2. Finally got a look at the CW+ schedule. The one I saw is CT; I know currently what's seen at 4p ET (now, The Goldbergs) is on at 11p CT. Not sure if that will continue.

    NEW

    Highway Thru Hell (6a)

Divorce Court (not sure if current or reruns) (7a, 3 and 330p)

    Nick Cannon (11a, 5p)

    The Liquidator (1a)

    GONE

Millionaire, Springer (with national CW), Seinfeld, PPI's 1a

    MORNINGS

Highway, Divorce, Judge Jerry, Maury, Wilkos, Maury, Cannon

    AFTERNOON

Judge Jerry x2, Divorce x2, Wilkos, Cannon, Family Guy x2

    LATE (after CW Prime)

    Goldbergs x2, Bob's Burgers x2, Black-ish x2, Schitt's Creek x2, Liquidator

  3. So we all know that the first-runs of Judge Judy are completed, and from what I gather there are still 2-4 reruns offered this fall.

But will the other court shows that have completed their run -- Paternity, Couples, Protection, Personal Injury -- still be offered in reruns?

Would it be a bad idea if Nexstar were to take the best of Banfield and air it on their broadcast stations? It could be just one hour on the weekend. During the program they would promote NewsNation and where it can be found within the local broadcast market - I picked Banfield because it is not a time sensitive  content program

I was thinking the same thing -- even airing it in late-late night or next-day, since it's not necessarily a "nighttime" show. Between the little I watch of NN and the fact that I'm off to bed at 9p CT, I catch Banfield reruns on weeknight prime time on WG, er, NN. I've crushed on Ashleigh since she was on MSNBC.

Someone at KDKA actually got fired for that stunt, if I'm not mistaken (KDKA is a CBS owned-and-operated station, after all).

Now in KSHB's case, this more than likely was tongue-in-cheek; I think they did this with the hopes Tom Brady and his people find it funny, and are good sports about it (let's hope).....😀

KSHB had a story on a United Methodist pastor named Tom Brady.

No. He meant the new LP they lit up last year. KCWH-LD, The CW affiliate in Lincoln (repeated on KNHL (formerly KHAS) 5.3). Gray has that Cornhusker state locked from Omaha to Scottsbluff.

    Ah, thanks.

KOLN and Gray Television are the 100-lb gorillas in Lincoln. It's not just KOLN in the market that Gray has, but seems like a gazillion stations in that area they own, including KSNB, KCWH and god what else they got.

Back in the '70s, KOLN's 10p news had the highest market share of any CBS affil in the nation. KLKN has taken a little dent, but it should be interesting with Deb Mcdermott's (former KOLN PD) company.

KSNB is owned by Gray but has a completely different newscast, focusing on Kearney-Hastings-Grand Island.

If you're referring to KWCH, that's Wichita, a fur piece (as we say in Kansas) away.

    I certainly wouldn't be surprised.

A full hour of each of his incessant "court" shows each weekday, Funny You Should Ask every afternoon, Comics Unleashed late nights, all his many infotainment shows during weekends, and those weird sitcoms that many well-known TV actors somehow signed up for on weeknights.

    That's a strategy. 😆

Or ... he could want the station to get ratings.
