  1. It looks like WHDT has made the switch to FL24. Last week they kept on putting ads about Court TV moving but didn't announce a replacement. I guess this was a surprise?
  2. Maybe... But not Sinclair. Especially after the layoffs from the FOX RSNs. Maybe it could be refreshing for an independent company to start up an RSN. But that's just my opinion.
  3. Wow, I was wondering how they were going to incorporate the 'Texas Connects US' slogan. Thank you!
  4. I think they'll switch when they finish with the set update.
  5. During their 6PM newscast, WPTV anchors announced the construction of their new set. I watched part of the newscast and didn't notice they were in a temp set since it was the same set as the 4PM news.
  6. Just checked, WFLX has switched as well.
  7. WarnerDiscovery could've been simpler, no?
  8. So maybe they'll replace QVC and HSN with two new networks that launch that same day.
  9. I honestly feel as though Scripps did not think this through. There are now three CourtTV Mysteries, one on WPTV, one on WFLX, and one on WPXP. WPTV is now occasionally breaking up, even though I live 5 miles away from the tower. They added too many subchannels to WPTV, WFLX, and WHDT many of them the same network. It gets me frustrated and it's only been a day. They could have used one subchannel for Telemundo or another spanish network since the market is underserved for the hispanic community. I was actually hoping this was going to be the case but it looks like Scripps is really trying to get people to watch Mystery and CourtTV.
  10. In the West Palm Beach market it happened during a commercial break during Franklin. BUT, it glitched for a second, lost signal, then turned to Court TV programming.
  11. I was actually watching Qubo with my son when it happened. Sadly I didn't record it since it caught me off guard.
  12. But they also have the Olympic Channel, which I assume would play a bigger role if NBCSN does get axed.
  13. Quick note. WPEC in West Palm Beach has changed its graphics just a bit to make it look more 3d. I don't have a video but I wanted to ask if other stations were doing the same.
  14. KMTV in Omaha now has the graphics, they debuted during the midday newscast.
  15. This was featured on the KATC YouTube page, does anyone know when more Cordillera stations are going to make the switch? (so far I have not seen that much about KRIS or KSBY)
  16. This is the first time I've seen the chat bubble in this position, is it exclusive to the weather segment or could they use it for something else? (Like a weather bug)
  17. The only problem is that Action News or Eyewitness News sounds too generic, it doesn't make the station feel unique. Thankfully, Scripps also got rid of the orange.
  18. At least they got rid of this...
  19. It's been like this for a few years, the only difference was they never showed the time/temp. The new Scripps lower thirds are show in the end of the broadcast, but only to State the copyright claim from Gray.
  20. While WFLX/WPTV still have not changed to the new Scripps graphics, they don't bother to even out the old and the new.
  21. So I found it interesting that some aspects of the new graphics were introduced in WPTV newscasts. Today during the Now on WFLX there was something new...
