It seems like a weird cross of the Tonight Show and View. If Jay is the only host, what is Hollie doing there? She's in the entire show.

I give them props for creating something unique with the open and show title. "Lunch Break" isn't a bad name for a midday show at all. The glare on the monitor array needs to be fixed ASAP.

Although it's only the first show and changes will have to be made, it still seems doomed to fail.

Ed McMahon was Johnny Carson's sidekick but he didn't get billing either.

    Like: Channel 3 and 19

    Hate: Channel 5, 8, 25, 55 and 68 (Mansfield)

Indifferent or NA: Channel 23, 43, 61 and all the rest

I think 5's logo is clean and sharp looking.  The 5 is bold unlike 'Circle 3.' The 5 also pops against the blue and doesn't have the distracting outline like some past logos had.

For 8, so many fox locals have the same boring, corporate look.

  3. DABL, the new 'live well'-esque cbs diginet came on the air at 2pm on kdka 2.0.  Crossing Jordan and starttv were on at 1, martha stewart is on now. Soft launch I guess, samething happened with Decades.

  4. Last month KDKA quitely added a 2hr Sunday Morning newscast from 7-9. Bumping an hour of cbs e/i, joel osteen and a public affairs program.  Both TAE and PXI have had neescasts there since the 90s.

Entering Spectulatron territory here, but - they could also make them both a half hour a la Bold and the Beautiful on CBS. Or be truly unconventional (and old fashioned) and divide the two hours into three 40-minute shows.  Since they all function in the same “world” - it could open the door for some fun crossover and hook fans in to the whole lineup.  (Because I’d assume they’d film in LA like GH and AMC towards the end of its run.).

Best guess is that they end up on a Disney-owned streaming platform.

Talk shows are cheap, much cheaper than a mon-fri. If any soap returns it would be on a weekly or twice weekly basis and most likely stream oriented.

The most likely scenarios would be either a hard or soft reboot so the PP era can be forgotten about. The one thing going for the shows is brand/ip familiarity.
