  1. They used the low viewership excuse for the RSN'S, WGN America/Newsnation,(twice), the ViacomCBS channels, (which was settled before a blackout could happen) and the AMC Networks in 2012, (even though Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and the Walking Dead were among the most popular shows at the time.
  2. Tegna did indeed pull their channels right at 9:00 right off of Dish. Each side is blaming the other of course for taking channels off. Dish claims Tegna wants a billion dollars. I hope they can resolve this soon.
  3. About the only way I can watch Matt Amodio's run on Jeopardy. This means that WTOL and WUPW are gone, and with the uncertainty of the Sinclair dispute, WNWO may be gone as well. So that means 3 stations with big 4 programming will be off if these companies pull their programming. This needs to end. I hope the new FCC will step in on these disputes. They probably won't though.
  4. I still prefer the extra note in the jingle. Maybe they will bring back the yellow graphics from the late 90's and early 2000's at some point as well.
  5. A&E owned the copyright, and Big Fish produced it, so I'm thinking Big Fish has the rights to the Live PD name.
  6. To be honest, I bet Live PD would draw better ratings on NewsNation than any of their programming, as it was number 1 in primetime on its respective days before A&E canned it last year.
  7. What a total ripoff of CNN's graphics.
  8. Used to watch her on the WGN Midday News back when WGN America was still a superstation. May she R.I.P.
  9. I forgot about that first graphics package.
  10. I've noticed this on some of my smart TV apps as well. I don't think CBSN has had a graphics change since its launch.
  11. It was originally going to be Sept. 13 according to TV Newser.
  12. There'd be lots of complaints if they interrupt Blue Bloods or Last Man Standing, even though they're reruns.
  13. It looks like there's a short-term extension for now, so it looks like it's not over yet.
  14. Sinclair stations are still on Dish at this time.
  15. DirecTV and Xfinity and other cable providers are about the only providers left to carry RSN'S.
  16. I thought the same thing. Now they need to revive the yellow and black scheme and the classic 4-note jingle as well.
  17. Such a shame to see Dan Harris leaving. He was at ABC News for a long time. I remember the days when he was ABC World News's weekend anchor. Best of luck at 10 percent.
  18. As a Scott Pelley fan, Jeff Glor probably should've been the anchor in 2011, when he was known at the time as the Early Show news reader.
  19. I think CBS should have kept Jeff Glor in Evenings. He was just becoming popular when they replaced him with Norah. Unfortunately, there has to be a network that's in third place and David and Lester were still more popular with viewers. Norah's not a bad anchor but I still liked her better on CTM and as a White House Correspondent. I also don't care that they sort of copied WNT's method of "shouting" the headlines at the beginning for drama. I actually do like that the newscast is now based in Washington, as they're always have been more news stories there than in NYC. I'll guess we'll see what continues to happen to their ratings. I don't see Norah going away in the foreseeable future.
  20. In the Heat of the Night's been on there forever it seems.
  21. I wish Emrick was there as well. Kenny Albert's not bad, just a little more average.
  22. Chris is one of the few tolerable ones over there. Shepard Smith was the same until his resignation. Bill seems to be getting a little more far to the right, although probably somewhat better compared to Hannity and Tucker.
  23. That's only on the TV News Archive. Community Video runs like YT/Vimeo.
  24. I have to wonder how long before Moss gets fired just like Hecker last week?
  25. Nintendo's a big example of this.
