  1. Apparently my mind was in another area code because KRIV Fox 26 will actually start airing "Pictionary" on September 26. A promo I saw just a few minutes prior to the time of typing confirmed this. So now I know why I see "Nick Cannon" at 1:00pm instead.

  3. More updates from Houston:

    • KIAH will air "The Good Doctor" at 12:00pm starting September 17, and "WOW: Women of Wrestling" will be airing on KIAH at 11:00pm on that same day. "Storm of Suspicion" also moves to KIAH from KTXH at 3:00am in the early hours of September. And my earlier prediction was right: "Relative Justice" and "Paternity Court" WILL air at 4:00am and 4:30am respectively in the very early morning hours starting September 19, to make room for "Karamo" at noon.
    • "9-1-1" --> ABC O&O KTRK in the early hours of September 18 at 12:05am. Seeing that this is a Fox show, not an ABC show, this reminds me of one time when, for a year or two, KHOU-11 (my local CBS affiliate) aired "White Collar", which was produced by Fox, syndicated by 20th Television, and originally aired on USA Network, as one of their late-night weekend dramas (it surprisingly enough didn't air on KRIV Fox 26 or KTXH My20). I personally find the "9-1-1" airings on ABC 13 to make more sense seeing that 20th Television (formerly 20th Century Fox Television) is now corporately under Disney's watch, just like ABC is. ABC 13 will also air "The Rookie" on late Sunday/early Monday starting September 19.
    • "Magnum P.I." (the 2018 reboot) will replace "Bull" at 12:30am on September 18 on KHOU 11.
    • As for KPRC, the "Dr. Phil" and "NBC News Daily" timeslots are swapped for some reason, putting the former back in the 1:00pm slot. Is this some kind of error by TV Passport (the TV listing site I'm currently using)? And I thought "Impractical Jokers" was leaving syndication? It's still scheduled on September 18 and 19 (the early morning hours).
    • I'm not sure if I've already mentioned this, but KTXH will air "Law & Order: SVU" on the weekends starting September 17, with Saturday being a double run. The weekend runs of "Judge Judy" move to 2:00pm and 2:30pm on the same day. "Modern Family's" weekend quadruple run moves to Sundays from 8:00pm-10:00pm.
    • Thanks 1

This is a duplicate of what was posted the previous day.

  5. More information from Houston:

KPRC (NBC Ch. 2): No other changes for now, outside what @SS8609 has already mentioned.

KHOU (CBS Ch. 11): We now know what's going to replace "Ellen" at 3:00pm: a full hour of the Tegna-produced show "Daily Blast Live".

KTRK (ABC Ch. 13): No changes for now.

KTXH (Independent/MNTV Ch. 20): The "B" set of episodes of "Judge Judy" which currently airs at 2:00pm and 2:30pm moves to 10:00pm and 10:30pm starting September 12. To accommodate that change, "The Big Bang Theory" (the third of three episodes that air every weekday) and "The Simpsons" move up an hour and a half earlier to 9:00 and 9:30pm, respectively, and "Schitt's Creek" (I thought this show was leaving syndication, no?) moves to 11:00pm prior to "Access Hollywood".

KRIV (Fox Ch. 26): The only thing I have of interest is "Nick Cannon" is listed at 1:00pm for some reason for September 12 (apparently it's staying around in reruns for at least one more week), though the "Pictionary" station list says it will air on 26 at 1:30pm...

KIAH (The CW Ch. 39): To make room for "The Neighborhood" coming to 4:00pm and 4:30pm on September 12, "Last Man Standing" and "The Goldbergs" will move to 1:00am and 2:00am, respectively; the latter will air as a double run. This all shifts "The Drew Barrymore Show" to 3:00am, and it's only a half-hour, so I'm not sure which half will air on 39. "Hot Bench" finally gets re-cleared in Houston after an absence of more than a year (it had aired on KUBE-TV Houston for its entire prior run before the station's owner, RNN, turned it into an all-shopping channel)--that's the good news. The bad news is, it's airing overnight at 3:30am. "Couples Court" is off the schedule starting in the overnight hours of Sept. 12, replaced with paid programming (I have a feeling, though, that "Relative Justice" will replace one of those paid programming slots when it and "Paternity Court" get replaced with "Karamo" on September 19). "American Housewife" has also been picked up by KIAH and will air at 1:30am.

Question Marks: I'm still wondering if the following shows will ever get re-cleared in the Houston area ever again:

    • "Seinfeld"
    • "Family Guy"
    • "Bob's Burgers" (if it's still in syndication)
    • "The King of Queens" (not sure if this is still in syndication either)
    • About every other Entertainment Studios court show (i.e. "America's Court with Judge Ross", "The Verdict with Judge Hatchett", "Supreme Justice with Judge Karen")
  6. "Dateline" replaces "The Real" and "The Good Dish" on KTXH on September 5 and KRIV on September 6 (the 1:00-4:00pm hours are preempted on the 5th due to NHRA Drag Racing coverage), respectively. Even as a placeholder, I don't know what to think about the same episode of "Dateline" airing at 1:00pm on BOTH KTXH and KRIV...

Pictionary Station List. This can’t be complete. Lots of missing markets. It takes both of YBYL’s time slots here on WJZY. 11:30am and 12:30am. So likely either 25 Words or Less or YBYL moves to 1pm or WMYT, with the other airing at 11am, or maybe WJZY creates a 2 hour game show block and Rachael Ray moves to 1pm. Of course this could turn out to be wrong, as I learned with Young Sheldon and Nick Cannon last year.

I stand corrected. KRIV Fox 26 will have one airing of Pictionary at 1:30pm, and KTXH will have only one airing of said show at 4:00pm.

Nothing in Toledo yet, but WXYZ in Detroit gets a dreaded 1:30 AM slot.

Suprising that WXYZ even got this show, seeing that WJBK is a Fox O&O.
