stevieboy247 42
I'm surprised nobody ever posted anything about this, but I saw Sam Ryan on the MLB Network and TBS covering MLB postseason games. Then I found out just yesterday that she left WCBS-TV and CBS Sports in August of this year. I wonder who has replaced her? I'm guessing Otis Livingston perhaps. But anyway, I think she'll do a great job with MLB Network and TBS, Any thoughts? Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/11487-sam-ryan/ Share on other sites
kjohnson 17
That one got past me, too. I'll ask Otis on Twitter if he's the new Sports Director. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/11487-sam-ryan/#findComment-68749 Share on other sites
IceManNYR 240
Steve Overmyer has been doing some of the sports reports on WCBS. He recently left SNY. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/11487-sam-ryan/#findComment-68763 Share on other sites
tvknowledge 5
Has Otis been named the permanent sportscaster for them? I happen to think he's very good and deserves it, much more so than Sam Ryan. She was the news director's little darling and he seemed to bend over backwards for her. Research showed however that a majority of viewers found her irritating and phoney. Imo, no loss there- a big gain in fact. I'm glad Otis is a regular. IceManNYR 240
Since Don has been moved back to anchoring weekends I would guess Otis moves to sports full time. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/11487-sam-ryan/#findComment-68993 Share on other sites
