bixpchiphead 105 Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 And before Mr. Miles was at WCBS-TV, He learned at the hands of the late Marie Torre and Bill Burns at KDKA Television. I believe that Mr. Miles was among the first (if not the first) African American reporter at KD, if not among the first in Pittsburgh television. Requiat in Pace, Mr. Miles.
Newsfan 9 Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Very sad news. I grew up watching Vic on Channel 2 News and I always liked his way of delievering the news. It was part of me becoming a Channel 2 News fan in the 80's. He will be missed and my prayers go out to Vic's family. R.I.P. Vic Miles
