They are thinking about having both Charlie Rose and former Conn. anchor aka Oprah's bestfriend Gayle King as the new anchors. NYNews 54 Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 The pace on the Early Show is so slow it puts people to sleep. Even their music is slow paced. Daybreak 270 Posted October 26, 2011 Author Share Posted October 26, 2011 If you ask me, CBS still don't have it right, Charlie Rose is an excellent journalist but he wouldn't want to be waking up 3 am every morning, or he will be there for a year until he says enough is enough. Gayle is alright but why don't you ask Asha Blake (GMA Sunday, Today 3 hr, and KTLA). I haven't seen here in a while and she would be perfect. I have to admit, I really liked Maggie, but she will never want to anchor for this show again after being fired. Erica should get her fast talking self together and find a new job.
