T.L. Hughes 903 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 The Denver Post reports that KUSA anchor/reporter Bazi Kanani, who has been with the Gannett-owned NBC affiliate in Denver since 2003, is leaving the station for a job with a national network; just which network she will be working for was unspecified. C Block 1566 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I'm happy for her, and I wish her well. She was popular here, though, to be honest, I never understood why. She always looks slightly uncomfortable on camera. She's a decent anchor, and she's a good fit for market 17, but I never would have imagined her on a national network.
KRAP-TV 146 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Totally agree with you, Charles. She reads the news well, but can't banter to save her life. Her exchanges with co-anchors and field reporters is rather painful to watch.
24994J 5621 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 She'll be with ABC News in the middle of Kenya...no banter required!
