nynewslover 280 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I have no idea who's leaving...The only thing I could think of is that Mary Calvi's husband was recently elected mayor of Yonkers and maybe she could be leaving to help out or something like that..Anyone have any information? C Block 1566 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Or perhaps that may be a conflict of interest? A spouse who's an elected official of a place in the coverage area?
Jess 1116 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Or perhaps that may be a conflict of interest? A spouse who's an elected official of a place in the coverage area? Possibly it, because usually if one's spouse becomes a mayor, he or she retires for a bit...
NYNews 54 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 For goodness sakes, give the position to Cindy Hsu already!
stevieboy247 42 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I assume it's for a weekend gig. They outta have Don Dahler work only on Saturday and Sunday Nights and have somebody take his place in the mornings.
civic110 20 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 WCBS just debuted new weekday morning news promos featuring all four of the crew. It's posted on their CBS 2 News This Morning facebook page. They remind me a little of what WNBC did with their morning ads.

kshow 167 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 It's practically identical! Shame on them. Yeah, they really messed up with that. At least wait till WNBC stopped airing the ads. They are pretty much the same thing! Even some of the same locations.

I really don't think anyone thinks it's a coincidence except people at WCBS.
bostonmediaguy 124 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Seems to be a trend. WCBS stole the entire WBZ Morning promo campaign a few years ago.
