Weeters 1916
So "TouchVision", the national digital subchannel clone of EyeOpener/NewsFix who's management includes the likes of Lee Abrams and Bill Carey, has started to pop up on stations. It seems Weigel is in on this crap this look into the future of television (TouchVision's address is Weigel's corporate office) and placed localized versions of TouchVision on WDJT and WCIU. My thoughts? This channel is a bigger waste of bandwidth than the home sales loop it replaced on WDJT. It reminds me a lot of those crappy "infotainment" loops you'd see at a mall or in a store. Trying to get any real information out of it is a pointless endeavor. I guess it's great if you just want to stare at a screen and drool all over the place while pictures are flashed into your eyes, it's perfect. They'd really have something here if they partnered with places to put this on where people gathered. Mall food courts, doctors offices, restaurants. But as a broadcast network? Ha. Hahahahaha. That's a good joke. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/12823-touchvision-starts-to-roll-out/ Share on other sites
