TVNewsCheck posted that Cal Worthington, a well known west coast car salesman, best known for his unique car lot commercials, passed away Sunday at the age of 92.

He started his first car dealership in the late 1940s, and he would eventually grow his empire throughout the west coast and Alaska.

His hallmark commercials would includes Worthington wearing his trademark Cowboy hat and include "his dog spot" which would eventually be hundreds of animals, and not an actual dog. It also included a heavy driven banjo rhythm beat with his slogan "Go See Cal, Go See Cal".

Here's a more detailed piece from the from David Lazarus from the LA Times about Worthington.

Here's a couple of his trademark commercials. He should go under the realms of best TV pitchmen, with Lynn Hauldren (Empire Carpet) & Billy Mays (Oxi Clean). May he rest in peace.
