Phillyhere 11 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 So, turns out my 300 tapes I recorded is nothing compared to the recording this Philadelphia woman recorded...for 35 years! http://www.fastcompany.com/3022022/the-incredible-story-of-marion-stokes-who-single-handedly-taped-35-years-of-tv-news
nycnews4 12 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Unbelievable that she began recording the year that I was born. I wish that I would have recorded news from years ago as now I'm scrambling around trying to find old news clips and VHS's which I don't have as most got disregarded years ago. I hope those tapes are archived and kept safe somewhere.
nickp 339 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Seeing how she taped TV news from 1977 to 2012, I was hoping she had an obsession of just taping 6ABC's Jim Gardner everyday

They plan on digitizing them and making them searchable online. http://www.fastcompany.com/3022022/the-incredible-story-of-marion-stokes-who-single-handedly-taped-35-years-of-tv-news
