That's a surprise considering that there are also rumors that Time Warner Cable is up for sale as well. If that is the case, why would TWC be in a buying mood?
ToriElectra 292 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Maybe its' Time Warner itself, not Time Warner Cable, as they were spun off in 2009 and now merely license the name.
CircleSeven 1960 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Why would Time Warner buy 95% stake in Cablevision, and spun off its namesake cable company four years ago? To me that don't make any sense.
LoadStar 364 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 That's a surprise considering that there are also rumors that Time Warner Cable is up for sale as well. If that is the case, why would TWC be in a buying mood? They might feel that purchasing Cablevision will result in a return on investment in the form of an improved Time Warner Cable valuation. Edit: quoted the wrong post.
