I guess WLS stuck in my head since I see her communicating so much now with the WLS news crew, while she's on Good Morning America. Although from what I remember Linda Yu did start on 5 first and moved to channel 7 so did Ron Magers. Yup, Ron and Linda were the A team in the early 80s. Linda was lured away in '84 to anchor a then-new 4pm news, and Ron left NBC in '97 with Carol Marin after the Jerry Springer fiasco. Taft and Giangreco also were at WMAQ.
