CBS2HD 1
Interesting move by the mayor. The story from WCBS: http://wcbstv.com/topstories/local_story_170181024.html You thoughts on this? NYnewsFan 0
He was always a Democrat. He supported the Clinton White House as well. He only switched parties because that was his best shot at winning the mayoral race at the time. Not sure if he is doing this for political reasons as mayor or is this his first step at testing the waters as a possible presidential candidate. Vlad 325
Yeah he always seemed to be a democrat, with his way of thinking and his general down-to earth style and more importantly acting a lot like a New Yorker despite his extreme wealth. (i.e. walking to work during the transit strike). He seems to be a great mayor thus far for the city. NYnewsFan 0
Just curious what does down to earth style have to do with political party affiliation? WAVY 10 Fan 233
Good riddance to the RINO (Republican In Name Only), but I'm a little nervous...especially if this is his plan to be the '08 equivalent of Ross Perot in '92.
