Last Monday, at 5PM, abc27 WHTM finally debuted new gfx ... The new graphics were badly needed for the number 2 station in the HLLY market. The only thing I really dislike is the L3's ... that line in the middle ... NEEDS. TO. GO. But the rest is nice. Overall, I give it a C+ grade. More can be done. Especially with the weather graphics. The weather graphics have a very minimalist look, which I am a fan of, but more needs done. Overall, this is a good step forward. -- Matt
Weeters 1969 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Why bother to design the lower third to fit in the 4:3 safe area if the rest of the package isn't going to conform to those restrictions? Other than that, it's a decent package.

Samantha 2902 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 That news logo in the open with the word NEWS twice has got to go. Also, that 27 is in sore need of a redesign; it's just kerned so tightly.
