AJClementeFan69 477 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 KMIZ in the Columbia/Jefferson City market has new graphics. Pretty nice for the most part...but some of the proportions seem weird. Not a fan of all the empty space on the locations on double box graphic. The STUDIO / COLUMBIA font could stand to be bigger IMO.
Viper550 292 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 It reminds me of that purple/yellow package some of the Nexstar stations have been using lately. It's not too bad.
WFTV Channel 9 80 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Pretty decent. The only major thing that urks me is the BIG space between the anchor's names in the beginning L3.
tw-804 194 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 **UPDATE (12/13; 4:09p/ET): To the admins, thanks so much for moving this post after I realized there was another thread on KMIZ's new graphics last night.** ORIGINAL Don't know when this happened, but KMIZ (Columbia-Jefferson City, MO's ABC affiliate owned by NPG) has brand-new graphics. They're still using Stephen Arnold's "Extreme" and Charlie Van Dyke's voiceover. Livestream: http://www.abc17news.com/livestream Check out the open from Sunday morning below:
Viper550 292 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Actually, this was already posted It's not too bad, but why is the logo in the intro not 3D? It just cheapens things
tw-804 194 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Actually, this was already posted Yeeeeah...I know now. There wasn't an open on that thread.
newsn8te 202 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Looks good! I LOVE that cut of extreme!
Journalist 894 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Looks good. Decent in my books. Intro reminds me of Tribune CBS.
tw-804 194 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Sorry for bumping the thread... So as of this posting, The News-Press NOW stations (KNPN/KNPG), KIFI and now KRDO have the new "Tribune CBS-like" graphics KMIZ is using (KRDO's weather graphics probably haven't switched yet). KVIA and KTVZ are using blue, white and red graphics since last year. The others haven't switched yet.
tw-804 194 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Here is KRDO's open with the new graphics yesterday (the weather graphics haven't switched yet). They made its debut just a few days ago. They're still using Stephen Arnold's Counterpoint and Al Vanik's voiceover.
susquvalleywgal 521 Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Apologies for bumping thread but looks like their new weather gfx have arrived at KRDO. Not too bad! -- Matt
