Samantha 2898 Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 That music bed at the start I remember from the early 2000s on the Cox Learning and Information Channel (which occupied channel 1 on digital before On Demand - looped programs on how to use Cox TV boxes, phone, high-speed internet). I also remember hearing it somewhere in Broadcast News once. Does anyone know where it might come from?

The theme was adapted for Broadcast News with that package's signature. Fun fact: In ye olden days of the 90s, CBC's Newsworld International used it for their rundown of sports scores. On a good day, this was on a loop for a minute or more.
