TexasTVNews 1378 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I've went to the WGCL web page and I've found out that former WNCN NBC 17 anchor Bill Gaines is now the new 4, 6 & 11pm anchor for CBS 46 News. He officially replaces Rich Noonan who left the station earlier this year because they did now renew his contract.
William 0 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Today was his first day on air at WGCL. He seems to be the "best" anchor they've received since the Jane Robelot/Calvin Hughes days. Maybe they'll keep him around for awhile.

You can see a few a gray hairs when they do a close up. I think Rich Noonan started with brownish hair and left with gray. I guess that's what working for a station like WGCL will do to you, either that or a bad dye job.
