KTVI/KPLR are getting a new set.

It'll be a set in a box and the reason the weather center is getting bigger is for more room and space for multiple meteorologists to work.

As someone who lives in a market with a Nexstar duopoly...can't say I have a problem with that 

But, in all seriousness, they really do need to invest in their single stations more if this is the case.

I personally don't believe they should answer, just for the sake of their job. Some companies (read: all industries) do not take kindly to disparaging comments about it.

I get the frustration. Personally I think the current studio KTVI has is still fine.

It does give old Tribune vibes, but it was still relatively young, but if this new set is terrible I’ll got

The new set is supposed to debut on Monday, Feb. 15.

New set has debuted. It debuted last night in a series of “Winter Watch” special weather reports during the Daytona 500. It officially premiered during a very late edition of FOX 2 News at 9pm (around 11:50pm) after the race.
