danderson500 31 Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 I was watching the Jets-Oilers game and they were using the CBC feed. I assume that NBC didn't have enough announcers?
PhillyWatch 240 Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 I take it that as it was two Canadian teams, NBC figured there wouldn't be too much interest south of that border and just ran with the feed they were allowed to use

danderson500 31 Posted May 24, 2021 Author Posted May 24, 2021 I think i know now why: Kenny Albert was not available, since his daughter was gradutiting. So they brought in Ken Daniels for the Hurricanes-Predators game, and used CBC for the Jets game.
danderson500 31 Posted June 1, 2021 Author Posted June 1, 2021 Looks like we are getting a CBC feed Monday Night. Since the Islanders-Bruins game starts at 6:30 and the Habs-Jets game starts at 8:00, they are starting the latter on NHLN and then JIP on NBCSN once the Islanders-Bruins game ends.
JCB4TV 352 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 With a couple exceptions so far, I've seen NBC produce their own coverage of the North Division playoffs. The commentators have been stationed in Stamford.
danderson500 31 Posted June 2, 2021 Author Posted June 2, 2021 However, the MTL/WPG game is a NHLN game, so i cant see them doing it from Stamford, i'd say it will be the CBC feed with Chris Cuthbert instead.
