Not sure if there was already a discussion on this, but does anyone happen to know why the News Music Search Archive has been down for weeks? I wonder if they got hit with copyright issues?

Unfortunately, this is a problem on your end.

NMSA has a broken web configuration. You are trying to access it over SSL, and they don't have SSL configured. Make sure the url starts with http:// instead of https://. Some browsers try to force https:// by default now.

I figured it out. It was my anti-virus software. I have BitDefender, and when I uninstalled it, I was able to access the site again.

 

Sometimes, BitDefender gets messed up a few days after I install it, and I have to reinstall it when that happens. Probably should've kept my Norton subscription.

I run into this all the time - honestly, I'd be willing to host the site (or put a reverse proxy in front of it) just so that it would resolve the issues folks are having with browsers defaulting to expect SSL/TLS.
