A TV station a friend of mine works for needs a name for their sports ticker.

 

I've already been given some good ideas. I can't disclose which station yet... but do you have any ideas?

It means the sports ticker holds up information on the TV screen like a belt holds pants around the waist.

How about just crawling the damn scores without a branding? Keep the interest on the info not the brand. I understand that is a radical thought, but, many people turn off the news when sports comes on. Gee, is that a commentary on what news may or may not be?
