Dave Lampstein 124 Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 A TV station a friend of mine works for needs a name for their sports ticker. I've already been given some good ideas. I can't disclose which station yet... but do you have any ideas?
A3N 1002 Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 here are a few I came up with ... SportScore Up to the minute Update Real Time Scores Score Watch
Sam Horn 78 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Sportslines CBS, along with Giant Ocotpus and Media Generals, has already started to soo yoo for that one.
tvpirate05 1 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 SportsBar ;D I like this one. How about: -ScoreBoard? -ScoreTrack?
Sam Horn 78 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 The Bottom Line. ESPN's sooin yoo, sir.
Weeters 1969 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 The Bottom Line. ESPN's sooin yoo, sir. THAT's where I've heard that before. :o
Ntropolis 599 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 The Belt Line. What does that have to do with sports? Don't wrestlers wear belts?
Mario500 3 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 The Belt Line. What does that have to do with sports? It means the sports ticker holds up information on the TV screen like a belt holds pants around the waist.
rtmclaug 70 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 I was thinking something simple, like Live Scores.
ib-td 1 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 I was thinking something simple, like Live Scores. How about just crawling the damn scores without a branding? Keep the interest on the info not the brand. I understand that is a radical thought, but, many people turn off the news when sports comes on. Gee, is that a commentary on what news may or may not be?
showdown 0 Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 How about: Sports Rip? Sports Front? Score Charger? Score Ticker? Score Slider? Sports Slid? (SS)
