NEPM (formerly WGBY) was actually a spin-off from WGBH in the first place so this is kind of a homecoming of sorts. I'm all for it!

The WGBH Educational Foundation still holds the WGBY license; NEPM has been the operator since 2019.

Did PBS moved their childrens programming elsewhere to streaming platforms after the shutdown?

Yeah. PBS is still around, just like NPR.

Every day they're still around is a huge middle finger to the president and those who oppose public broadcasting.

Only seven and a half months after this, WEIU-TV is going off the air. May 15th will be their final day on air.

And just like that, WEIU-TV has signed off for the final time.
