TheRolyPoly 3510 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 For the first time in its history, AMC, known as American Movie Classics until 2002, which gave us Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is venturing into sports. Get ready for TNA Thursday Night Impact! on Thursday nights on AMC starting January 15th, 2026. https://awfulannouncing.com/tna-wrestling/tna-wrestling-announces-new-media-rights-deal-with-amc.html 2
Action Newsroom 1376 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 As a TNA fan since 2017, this is to me the most exciting news. AMC is the most high-profile network for TNA programming since Spike (maybe even more due to its own programming and their individual and collective quality). I never did think AMC would pick up Impact, as it is known as a network airing movies and prestige TV dramas. I thought The CW would sign on due to its prominence in news reports, already picking up WWE NXT and its large investment in live sports. But hearing AMC gave the strongest offer, it makes a lot of sense and still is great to hear. I wish TNA and AMC all of the best in their new partnership.
Yankees4life 599 Posted December 26, 2025 Posted December 26, 2025 Good for them. I hope their product gets better too
