Comcast to split into two companies

Big news this morning.

 

Comcast will split into two independent companies. One will include the media and entertainment business (including NBCUniversal) and the other will include the broadband and wireless business.

So after all that trouble to have Comcast acquire NBCU it's effectively being reversed.

Good. This merger should have never happened in the first place.

In saner times, Disney should be next, at least with Hulu & Fubo being under their total control now.

That could be trickier, since Disney is basically a media company with a theme parks division.
