Checked out the graphics on RTV6.com and they are indeed a revamp of the graphics they previously had except for the lower-third.

 

They also changed the fonts as well. All in all, WRTV has some interesting graphics.

KDOC's morning news program, Daybreak OC, that was in HD was canceled (KDOC was in Orange County, CA... LA market). Does KDOC produce anything else besides that in HD?

No, KDOC airs nothing but reruns, infomercials, religious programming and movies. They should just stick to that. And the HD by the way was just a 480p screen with sidebars to make it look 720p.

yep the Ducks on KDOC, now that neither the Ducks or KCAL (where they used to be) are connected to Disney.

WTMJ, WDJT and WISN are reporting Q1 2009 for the launch of HD news according to MilwaukeeHDTV.org. WITI hasn't said anything yet.

WTVQ in Lexington, KY is launching HD news at the end of this month. They are going to have a new set, new graphics, and broadcast in HD.

 

New name too... wasn't there an article a while back about ditching Action News?

on wnyw fox5 news in new york city they had showed there new hd control room and they showed a preview of there new hd logo during there dtv test. Didnt get the pictures of it but if its on again i will get a picture of it. But for now put wnyw under the rumor mill for hd news.
