newsdude 61 Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 "The Price Is Right" is now using a cut of WCBS Grand/Grandeur as prize music! I heard it during the Showcase reveal this morning. It's a great theme -- at least it's being used somewhere!
lazynetjunkie 34 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I just watched the episode on CBS.com Innertube and heard it too. However, I don't believe this is the first time The Price is Right has used a cut from WCBS Grand as a prize/showcase cue. I think they have used a cut or 2 from WCBS Grand package towards the end of the Bob Barker run.
Chief-O 34 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 They've been scouring Kalehoff's archives lately. I know the "TonyD" cuts on his site [rejected stuff from Danza's show???] have been used a few times. The WCBS cut in question was, from what I noticed, looped a few times.
jestbiteme 13 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 On that note, from a few years ago... http://www.tvnewstalk.net/matt/TPIRCue.mov
justin2kx 240 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 not only that, on that same show, "home" along with "tony d" was used during the show. Go to kalehoff.com for more cues to listen.
