SevenHD 0 Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 I remember in the 90's and into the early 2000's WABC would run a really cool Christmas promo. It would show the members of the Eyewitness News team when they were kids. They did it for years. I don't know why they did away with it. Does anyone know if it can be found on the web? It was really cute.
wabceyewitness 827 Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 I loved that promo! I wish that WABC would have kept doing their holiday promos.
Vlad 334 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Most stations did a way with the Holiday Promos this year. I guess they are not in the holiday spirit for some odd reason. I remember last year when WNBC did that nice promo with the whole team singing a Christmas Carol. They don't even do the "We're 4 New York" anymore. I missed those promos . WABC started the Season's Greetings from overseas very late this year. WCBS doesn't do too much holiday stuff neither...
NYNW 0 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 WNBC did a holiday carol for this year. Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer was the song of choice.
Geoffrey 873 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 WCBS doesn't do too much holiday stuff neither... Actually, CBS 2 brought back the holiday promos from last year, just updated them a little bit. And they have a bunch of five-second IDs for the holidays as well.
SuitSnob 19 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I remember in the 90's and into the early 2000's WABC would run a really cool Christmas promo. It would show the members of the Eyewitness News team when they were kids. But they showed a portrait of Sam Champion...they didn't have photos in the days when he was a kid. (By the way, I am not referring to the portrait Sam has in his attic)
